Hello, I am Kellie Stevens. Welcome to my journey as an interior designer bringing my clients a fresh and new look for their homes. It is a passion for me to work along side homeowners in helping them visualize what they have dreamed their homes could be and realizing that vision. Either through a remodel of a single room, renovation or your new built home. I will work with you on color, style and theme. Most folks that move to a small mountain town like Pagosa Springs want the comfort and serenity that mountain living brings, but do not want to give up their style or modern amenities. Together we can create a beautiful space that has all that.

A little about Myself… I am a mother, a wife, a chef, an artist and now a designer. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts. I worked part time as an artist, while working in a furniture store. While there I was fortunate enough to be coach in interior design by a lead interior designer at the store. As a young twenty something I also worked part time in restaurants. But as time passed, I decided that the Culinary arts was calling my name the loudest, I decided to enroll in the Culinary Arts program by attending Western Culinary Institute in Portland Or. Upon graduating top of my class, I was offered a job with the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company. After climbing the corporate ladder as a Pastry chef for the Ritz Carlton Hotel company. In 2000 my husband and I opened our first restaurant in Houston Tx. and after five successful years we decided to make Pagosa Springs, Colorado our home and raise our two young sons in the San Juan Mountains. Over the last 15 years I have designed, owned, and operated 8 restaurants. In 2018 I decided to take a new direction and after the sale of my last restaurant I made a change. I went outside my comfort zone and took a part time job in a local flooring store to learn even more about the aspects of design through flooring while taking design classes. It was the best thing I ever did! I learned that my artistic eye helped so many of my customers with everything from tile selections for their new or remodeled bathrooms and Kitchens to choosing the best color of carpet for their home. I began designing/project management of bathrooms, kitchens, exteriors, and voila, Kellie Stevens Designs LLC was born. I look forward to engaging with you and your home through passion and an artistic eye.
